We will be hosting Jeff Pontius' (Vice President North Shore Railroad Systems) open-window, circa 1940's, passenger train again on October 25th, 2008 for two passenger runs from the Bellefonte Train Station to Pleasant Gap and Tyrone. Departure times will be 10:00 to Pleasant Gap (1.5 hours) and 1:00pm/13:00 to Tyrone along the Bald Eagle Valley (3 hours + stop over at the Transportation Museum in Tyrone). Boarding is half an hour prior departure. Tickets are available at the Bellefonte Train Station, Talleyrand Park. Tickets are $10 for the trip to Pleasant Gap and $25 for the ride to Tyrone. Children 2 and under, sitting on an adult lap, will be given a free "lap" ticket upon request with ticket orders. Please make out checks to BHRS indicating which ride, number of tickets (including lap tickets) and enclose a self-addressed large pre-stamped envelope and send all to Bellefonte Historical Railroad Society, The Train Station, 320 W.
